President-Elect Obama,
That was as fine a speech this evening,
In accepting your election,
As the next American President,
As I've heard from anybody.
In a generation that has grown up,
With more and more politial cynicism,
I thank you for restoring my hope in politics,
In America,
And in the world re-uniting,
For a cause much greater,
Than war,
And in destroying each other.
Quite simply,
That is the cause of living and working together,
More harmoniously,
More peacefully,
Despite all our
Individual,
Cultural,
Religious,
Racial,
Sexual,
Political,
Economic,
and International
Differences.
